HGTV® has chosen Kiawah Island outside Charleston, South Carolina for its 2013 Dream Home location. Each year HGTV® chooses a local nonprofit organization to donate all proceeds from tours of the HGTV® Dream Home. This year, Communities in Schools of the Charleston Area has been given this opportunity.
The event begins on Thursday, February 14th, 2013 and ends on Sunday, March 10th, 2013.
The tours will be given a total of 14 days between those dates. Tickets are $20.

*Sundays are Noon-5pm - last tour at 4pm
*All other days are 10am-5pm - last tour at 4pm except March 8th is 10am-1pm and reopens at 3pm-5pm, last tour at 4pm
Tour Guidelines
- Soft-soled shoes are required to enter the HGTV® Dream Home. High heels are not allowed.
- Shoes must be covered to enter the HGTV® Dream Home. Booties will be provided by Communities In Schools.
- No smoking, food or beverages will be allowed in or outside the HGTV® Dream Home.
- Please do not sit on any furniture in the HGTV® Dream Home.
- Please do not touch any items in the HGTV® Dream Home.
- Strollers are not allowed in the HGTV® Dream Home.
- There are no public restrooms available in or outside the home.
- Photos are allowed.
- Please respect the nature and surrounding homeowners during your visit.
- Volunteers are trained. Please feel free to ask questions!
